Our camera finally shuffled off this mortal coil, falling victim to endless drops, bangs, slams, and smacks after thousands of great pictures and more than five years of use. So the photos might be a bit sparse for a bit.
The bummer is that there were a bunch of blog-worthy events that deserved a spot in the Schneiderville sunshine. To wit:
Dale's surprise 50th birthday party. Expertly conceived and executed by Gerry and Kathy, the party remained a surprise and featured a rare Schneider sibling sighting featuring all four kids.
Courtney and Greg's wedding in Bronxville. Geffert-Leary in full effect, celebrated with a highly amusing Table 17 gang that included Paul Leary, Tom and Kieran, Jules and Algirdas, and Liz and Tom. Great night, great party and great people.
Anna visits with Cal and Mags. The wedding weekend presented a golden opportunity for cousins from opposite coasts to trade kid secrets and laugh at their parents when Anna spent a few days at 95 Johnson playing with Cal and Margaret.
NYC Biathlon. I tried another multi-sport race, and enjoyed cool temps in Central Park to better by goal time of 1:30:00 by more than six minutes in a run/bike/run event. October brings one more biathlon, a 5K, a 10K, and I'm done for the year.
