We're Back

It's been a month of constant motion, with Halloween, Margaret's Baptism, Cal's second birthday, etc. Each of those events is certainly worthy of its own page here on Schneiderville, but, man, I've been busy. School got pretty hairy, and the midterm exam/double research paper combo took a toll on the updating of the site. I think I'm lucky, though. Each of my classes has at least one redeeming feature, and I get a lot of laughs on most nights. I see the, uh, best minds of the generation that follows mine confused by politics, yelling at cell phones during class angrily, dragging themselves across the campus at twilight looking for an angry fix of red bull.* And school provides the yin to the yang of a day spent at home watching Here Come the ABCs with Cal and trying to teach Margaret to sit up and hold her bottle.

So, with the 'picture is worth a thousand words' theme in mind, here's what we've been up to...

We had a rehearsal birthday celebration on Wednesday, first with Shannon, Morgan and Audrey, and later with Nana and PopPop. Here he kicks back in his new tent with his new puzzle, his new flashlight and a ton of balloons.
